Level | Make Way for King Bowser! | World-Level | 6- | Game | Yoshi's New Island | Boss | Bowser | <<List of levels>> |
Make Way for King Bowser! is the final level of World 6 in Yoshi's New Island, and by extension, the game. It can only be accessed after the player has completed all of the main levels without using the Flutter Wings power-up. Layout[edit]Green Yoshi starts the level from a platform on the lava, near Bowser. He frequently summons Metal Guys that Yoshi must swallow and throw at Bowser. Repeating this process three times will defeat Bowser, but suddenly, Kamek appears, growing Bowser to giant size. The player must then combat with Giant Bowser in a battle similar to the one with Giant Baby Bowser from the previous level, but more difficult. Once Yoshi throws Mega Eggdozers to Bowser's mouth three times, he will finally be defeated. Yoshi then can find Baby Luigi by walking to the right, and the ending rolls. Trivia[edit]- If the player exits this level, the flag will be on the top of the volcano, but the '6' seems more pinkish. If this is done, the player will have to complete the previous level again in order to enter this level, as it can't be played freely from the World Map.

Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island (sometimes referred to simply as Yoshi's Island) is a 2D platform game for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, developed by Nintendo EAD. The game is the prequel to Super Mario World and chronologically the first in Mario franchise, and it stars Yoshi and the Yoshi clan, who, while carrying Baby Mario, travel across Yoshi's Island to rescue Baby Luigi from Baby Bowser and his Magikoopa minion/caretaker, Kamek. Instead of relying on jumping and a power-up system for combat as in the traditional Mario platformers, Yoshis use their tongue and eggs to overcome obstacles, as well as the introduction of many other different mechanics. The game is notable for introducing a time-based health system rather than hit points, an anomaly to what many platform games typically did in this game's time period. Rather than relying on powerful pre-rendered graphics as its contemporary, Donkey Kong Country, did, Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island employs a very distinct, stylized arts and crafts style to stand on its own. The game makes use of the Super FX2 graphics chip (one of only four commercially released SNES games to do so), which allows for larger, more detailed sprites and more advanced effects that emulate 3D space. |

Text above Bowser reads 'バウザー (クッパの英語名)' (Bowser (Koopa's English name)), and text above Doug Bowser reads 'ダグ・バウザー (米国任天堂社長)' (Doug Bowser (President of Nintendo of America)). The Korean and Chinese versions of the presentation also added a written explanation for similar reasons.
