Bonus Games
Yoshi's Island is the first world in New Super Mario Bros. It's a typical grass world, located at the most south-western area on the world map. This world has lots of vegetation& jagged teal mountains. This world is similar to Yoshi's Island from Super Mario World,& even the levels are rehashes of all the levels in that game. The enemy course is a Koopa Troopa. The fortress boss is Boom. Mar 14, 2014 You enter a hallway with Kamek attacking you, which seems like a frame by frame remake of the same section in Yoshi’s Island 1. In Baby Bowser’s room, Kamek is beaten up by Baby Bowser, in exactly the same way as in Yoshi’s Island. You fight Baby Bowser, who acts kind of like a cross between his fights in the first game and the DS title. Yoshi's Island is a 1995 platform game developed and published by Nintendo for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. To reunite baby Mario with his brother Luigi, who has been kidnapped by Kamek, the player controls Yoshi, a friendly dinosaur, through 48 levels while carrying Baby Mario. As a Super Mario series platformer, Yoshi runs and jumps to reach the end of the level while solving.

Yoshi's Island DS Boss Guide
By Super Mario
Yoshi's Island Level 3 Boss Kirby Butter Building
Well, now that I'm back after, say, a few long times, I'm going to start my return with an attempt at a guide. I may or may not have slipped Lemmy some red coins to get him to accept this.
World 1 Mini-Boss: Bashful Burt Bros.
This battle is the closest to its 'alter ego' in the original. It's the same... BUT THERE'S ONE EXTRA BASHFUL! Really, there's nothing actually hard about this battle. The Bros. will occasionally try to jump on you, but there's two small holes on each side of the room for you to duck into. They can't hurt you 'cause they don't fit. Just keep throwing eggs at the Burt Bros. until their pants fall off and they deflate. A hit on either Bro. affects both of them, so you don't need to kill them one by one. And of course, if you run out of eggs, there's that weird... PLANT THING that spits out eggs for you. Seriously, you shouldn't even need to read this part of the guide. If you are, the government is laughing.
World 1 Boss: Gilbert the Gooey
Ew. What is this thing?! It just... drips... from the... ceiling. Ech. Anyways, the thing with this battle is, you don't actually need eggs! You just have to eat those weird ball things that cover Gilbert. Sometimes, if you're lucky, you can spit the ball out and it might hit another, knocking both out! Really, there's no challenge to this. Depending on how high Gilbert hangs, you may need to use the bouncy arrow thingy to jump up to the higher platforms. Obviously, you shouldn't stand in the middle of the arena, or Gilbert may crush you under his disgusting drippiness. I think this is actually... easier than the Burts. Once you eat all the balls on Gilbert, he'll turn red and... explode or something.
World 2 Mini-Boss: Hector the Reflector
Well... the challenge of this sort of makes up for the Burts and Gilbert. So Kamek makes this big ghost invisible, and you have to throw eggs at him. Now you might be thinking 'omgz. i quitz.' But listen! The bottom screen shows an upside-down, backwards mirror, in which Hector appears! This way, you can keep track of him. But be sure to watch out for his small Invisighouls. They are small Reflectors that hide behind floating furniture. They also can only be seen in the mirror. You can munch them (and the table/flower pot they're hiding behind) for some eggs. Every time you nail Hector, he'll spit the egg at the mirror, shattering a part of it. This makes it impossible to see in the shattered area. However, Hector takes up a wide area of space, so you should still be able to see him. Once you hit him enough times, he'll shrink into nothing and, putew, you win.
World 2 Boss: Big Bungee Piranha
Looks like Nintendo couldn't think of a good name for this guy. Bungee REALLY makes up for the Burts and Gilbert. Bungee will try to snack on your delicious dino flesh, hanging from the top screen as Yoshi and baby look around stupidly. Right before Bungee dives to take a bite, you'll see a flashing X where he's aiming. Get out of the way as fast as possible and roll the Chomp Rock into the X. Bungee will crack his teeth on the rock, and you have to aim for his mouth while it's agape. But watch out for the two Bungee Piranhas next to Big Bungee--they spit out dandelions that become Nippers when they land. Of course, the Nippers can be used for egg back up. So fire away at Bungee 'til he implodes, then it's on to World 3.
World 3 Mini-Boss: Bessie Bass
What seems like a Big Bertha counterpart, this giant fish is actually quite difficult to beat. Basically, once she jumps in the air to bite Yoshi, aim for the mouth! You'll always have to aim for her mouth. It only takes a few times, although she moves fast, and you have to keep moving from platform to platform when the water gets higher or Bessie destroys the platform you're standing on, so she might not be easy to hit. Try to aim your egg cursor straight up, then hold it until she's just about to be directly above you. Eh, works for me. Your egg source this time is Pirate Guys that randomly appear in the water. Heh, good luck with this one.
World 3 Boss: Priscilla the Peckish
This boss was far under my expectations. She shoulda been the mini-boss. Now, this arena is sort of complex, so lemme tell you how it works. On the far-left and far-right, you'll see warp pipes that Shy Guys pop out of. That's your egg source, as if you'll really need it. On the left and right are two platforms for Yoshi to stand on while attacking. In the middle is Priscilla's deathly sand pit... OF DEWM. So, here's what I suggest. If you're on the left platform, face left and lock your egg cursor into about a 50-degree angle. Then jump over Priscilla to attract her for a nibble of Yoshi. Wow, poor dinosaur... The last three bosses have been interested in eating him! Now obviously, you should land on the right platform and Priscilla will jump into the air. Hit her with your egg when she matches with the cursor. Do this three times and you should win. But, if you don't eat the Shy Guys when they pop out of the pipes, they'll fall to Priscilla and she'll spit them out at you. But you should be able to dodge them. Moving along to World 4 (where you lose Baby Wario).
World 4 Mini-Boss: Six-Faced Sal
Ha ha, six-faced! HAHAHA. Six-Faced Sal is sort of an... intermediate boss. First, one of the six faces on Sal will grow larger than the others and spit enemies at you that can hurt you, but YOU can eat THEM. Bam, egg source. After you hit Sal's enlarged face, it will shrink back down and three faces appear this time. Again, one is pink, but the other two are red. You'll have to hit the pink one, but make sure the red ones don't get in your way. All of the faces spit enemies. This is when you should take advantage of the revolving platform on the Touch Screen. As it revolves, Sal spins. However, and I know from experience, this is not as easy as it sounds. You'll often screw up and push Sal too far, or you'll stand on the wrong platform, or you'll miss Sal's pink face completely. Once you hit Sal the second time, the faces shrink and ALL of them grow this time. Again, don't let the red faces get in your way and make sure you take advantage of the revolving platform. Once again, all of the faces spit enemies at you, so eat as much as you can.
World 4 Boss: Big Guy the Stilted
'Big Guy the Stilted'? Come on, Nintendo. You're better than this. Big Guy is not too much of a challenge, especially if you're fighting with Baby Bowser. You'll have to throw eggs at Big Guy to push him off the edge of the platform, which is lava. Shy Guys pop out of Big Guy's eyes- there's your eggs. Although, Baby Bowser, like I said, makes this battle easier. He can spit fire at Big Guy to push him off, which takes less time than throwing eggs and eating them. Once Big Guy's in the lava, ground pound his head. Do this three times and he'll be turned into a statue. Keep going, you're on the last world now!
World 5 Mini-Boss: Moltz the Very Goonie
It's the last mini-boss now. Don't give up! You and Moltz are falling through the sky right now, so there's nothing to stand on. When Moltz floats to the Touch Screen, flutter jump into the air and nail him with a ground pound. As you can tell, there's no need for eggs in this battle. When you ground pound Moltz, he'll fly off the two screens and rockets will briefly fly by. Simply avoid them and you're good to go. After a few rockets, Moltz is back. Ground pound him two more times (and avoid the rockets) and you're all set. All right, now we're on the last battle!
World 5 Boss: Baby Bowser
Baby Bowser is pretty simple for the final boss. His attack pattern is as follows: spit three fireballs at Yoshi, jump, spit fireballs above Yoshi, jump, ground pound. I'd just avoid the first three fireballs, and while he's in the air, get out of his way and lock your egg cursor straight forward. Then get out of the way of his ground pound and smack him as soon as he hits the ground. If you do this three times, you've defeated Baby Bowser. Congratulations, you've finished Yoshi's Island DS!

World 5 Boss 2: Bowser
Hee hee, I was just kidding about that whole 'you've finished Yoshi's Island DS' thing. You still have a couple more bosses. First is Bowser. You may notice that all of your eggs are gone, although they're no good in this battle. You need the big eggs that the Item Balloons bring you to attack Bowser. While his back's turned, aim the cursor at him and throw once he turns around. If you throw while his back's turned to you, his shell will protect him from the egg. Once he's down, ground pound his stomach. Do THIS three times and Bowser's beat. HOWEVER, make sure Bowser doesn't get his hands on the eggs. He'll hurl the eggs at you and there's not much way to dodge them. Well, dodging them is hard. After this, Kamek will prepare Bowser for the final fight.
World 5 Final Boss: Giant Bowser
Kamek's outdone himself this time- although, that's not really a good thing for you. You'll fight this gargantuan version of Bowser with four Yoshis, all carrying one baby. The baby you had when you fought Baby Bowser determines which Yoshi you control, while the others follow you around. I suggest Baby Mario, his speed is the only thing that will help at all in this fight. Bowser will spit a fireball at you whenever you're directly under him, but they're fairly easy to dodge. Eventually, an Item Balloon will appear with four big eggs for all four Yoshis to throw at once. Aim the giant cursor at Bowser's face, and fire away. After the first shot, Bowser will develop a new attack. He will scratch the building and cause remains of the castle to fall on you. They'll also be easy to dodge, at first, anyway. Make sure that when you're throwing eggs at Bowser, no fire or rocks are in your way. They'll pop one or all of the eggs, and it makes the attack defective. After taking a few hits, Bowser will start attacking with bigger rocks falling down. They fall slowly, and once they're far enough down, you can't get past them. On the second to last hit Bowser takes, he will start spitting three fireballs at a time, making a larger area in the arena that can damage you. Just avoid this and hit him for the final time. Congrats, now you've really beat Yoshi's Island DS!
