Throwing Balloons is a Mini Battle from Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and its remake Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3. In it, a Yoshi has a contest with a Bandit to see who can win a combination between Hot Potato and Simon Says, tossing a slowly expanding balloon back and forth until it pops on the loser. The player must push the right buttons to throw the balloon back to the Bandit, and the Bandit will do the same. The player and the Bandit both have a set time limit in which they have to enter the buttons. If the player or the Bandit don't press all the buttons given, or make a mistake, the timer will restart again. There are three modes, the four-button mode, a five-button mode in the GBA version and the six-button mode. Also, if the player accesses the Mini Battle menu from the World Map (only in the SNES version), they can play a multiplayer version of the game, in which the second player will control the Bandit. If Yoshi wins, he will get an item, two extra lives or three extra lives. Description[edit]- THROWING BALLOONS

- Mildes are small, pink ball-like creatures that appear in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3. They march around in lines and are most common in Marching Milde's Fort. Like balloons, they pop if a Yoshi steps on one, the pop knocking back any enemies that are close to them. A few of them are very large and have to be Ground Pounded to be defeated.
