World 2 in Yoshi's Island DS is a jungle-themed world. The Yoshis meet Baby Donkey Kong and he joins the game. This world has a total of ten levels, like all worlds, eight main levels and two hidden ones. Level info[edit]- 2-1Baby DK, the Jungle King! – The first level in World 2, Baby Peach gets kidnapped by monkeys, and Yoshi teams up with Baby Donkey Kong to save her.
- 2-2Underground Mysteries – This level takes pace in an underground cavern and introduces the Mole Tank transformation.
- 2-3Windblown Wilderness – This level takes place in the wilderness and requires Balloons and Baby Peach's floating ability to advance through the level.
- 2-4Hector the Reflector's Haunted House – This level contains many ghostly enemies and contains the third boss Hector the Reflector.
- 2-5Boing! – Yoshi needs to make use of the Bouncies to progress through the level.
- 2-6Donuts and Eggs – Taking place on a mountain, this is the first auto-scrolling level of the game.
- 2-7Yoshi on Stilts – This level takes place in a jungle and a cave. Yoshi will use a pair of stilts to traverse the lava.
- 2-8Big Bungee Piranha's Lair – A level which is set in a sewer environment. It contains many enemies based upon Piranha Plants. Big Bungee Piranha is the boss.
- SecretYikes! Boiling Hot! – This level has Yoshi traverse a volcanic environment, avoiding lava and Hot Lips. It is one of the two levels to feature the tall Gargantua Blargg.
- ExtraMoving Statues, Standing Statues – An autoscrolling level where Yoshi has to use statue platforms to progress over a river of Boss Bass.

Level 2 of each world is completed with a pink Yoshi, but the SNES Version showed this to be red/rose pink on the map screen. This has been fixed to pink on the GBA version. Also, level 7 of each world is completed with the red/rose pink Yoshi, where the SNES shows this as pink on the map screen. Welcome to Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island! The purpose of this guide is to walk you through obtaining 100% completion in this game. Though this guide should still be of some use if all you were wanting to do is finish, it's mainly geared toward those who want to find all of the many collectibles hidden throughout the game world. Oct 28, 2008 World 2 World 2 is a little harder than World 1, but not by much. Aside from a few annoyances here and there, clearing the levels and getting 100s in all of them isn't too daunting a task. You also get the benefits of the 999 Lives Trick and 'Eat Fuzzy Get Dizzy' here, so have a blast.
